Refund policy

If something isn't right with your arrangement — damaged in transit, wrong piece, or simply not what you imagined for the room — we'll sort it out. No fine print.

These policies sit alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing here reduces those rights. The ACL protections are explained at the bottom of this page.

Damaged on arrival

It almost never happens — we pack each arrangement in acid-free tissue, foam-insert the vessel, and double-box larger pieces. But if a piece arrives damaged:

  1. Take a photo of the damage and the packaging it came in.
  2. Email us at hello@fauxandfabulous.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and the photos.
  3. We'll arrange a free replacement or a full refund — your call. No need to return the damaged piece.

Change-of-mind returns

If you receive an arrangement and decide it's not for the room you had in mind:

  • Email us within 14 days of delivery.
  • The piece needs to be unused, in its original vessel, with the original packaging.
  • You pay return shipping. We recommend insured, tracked post — the arrangement is your responsibility until we receive it.
  • Once we have it back in good condition, we'll refund the product price within 3 business days.

We don't refund original shipping on change-of-mind returns.

Wrong arrangement received

Our error — we make it right immediately. Email us with your order number and a photo, and we'll send a replacement straight away and arrange free return collection of the wrong piece.

Sale and discounted items

Items bought on sale or with a discount code are returnable on the same terms above. The refund will be for the price you paid, not the original RRP.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You're entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You're also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in this policy attempts to exclude, restrict or modify those statutory rights. If you believe a piece has a defect that the policies above don't cover, email us anyway — we'd rather hear about it.
